The Edinburgh-Shenzhen Creative Exchange (ESCE) was established in 2015 following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the cities of Edinburgh and Shenzhen in 2013. The organization provides incubator and soft landing space for the creative and tech sectors from both cities. It aims to support companies from Edinburgh in Shenzhen and vice versa, focusing on fostering business connections and investments.

ESCE focuses on the creative and technology sectors, providing services such as business consulting, legal and financial management, business pitching and promotion, and logistical support. The organization is supported by the Shenzhen Government and various private equity firms, facilitating inward and outward investments between the two cities.
