BBA Creative Lab (Bridge Building Artistry)

BBA Creative Lab, founded by Lacey Hughes and Wei Chen, serves as a creative development incubator located in Tokyo. The organization focuses on connecting emerging Japanese and international creatives by facilitating immersive, project-based collaborations with forward-thinking Japanese brands. Through an intensive two-week program, BBA pairs multidisciplinary teams of photographers, creative directors, writers, filmmakers, and artists to produce portfolio-quality work while fostering genuine language confidence in both Japanese and English. The lab emphasizes community building, mentorship, and cultural exchange, aiming to enrich the creative landscape and support the growth of emerging artists.
