Overview
AUGE-UCR, or Agencia Universitaria para la Gestión del Emprendimiento, was established in November 2012 as part of the University of Costa Rica. Operating under the Research Vicerrectory, it aims to create and nurture companies and knowledge-intensive entities. Supported by the UCR Foundation and the Development Banking System, AUGE-UCR focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial community that incubates innovative projects and promotes university-industry collaboration, technology transfer, and capacity building.
