Scouts are the people founders call before they go raise.
We thrive based on our ability to execute our scouts strategy. At the independent venture firms, you’ll generally find more innovation, resources, and community around scouts.
A lot of women entrepreneurs reach out to me, because there are still too few of us and it’s my mission to change that. The diligence items we go through as scouts also help me think more objectively about my own company.
I guess the next and final question is: what kind of scout programmes can we build, drawing from the example the US and the UK has set for us ?
