Our mission is spreading love by helping people and families around the world. How are we achieving our mission? First, we manage a Family Fund on the micro-lending platform Kiva. The purpose of this fund is to help entrepreneurs around the world who want to improve the quality of their families' lives by starting or operating their own businesses. We spend time every month picking entrepreneurs whose story calls out to us. Most of our loans are to women who lack access to capital. Many of those women are single mothers. Secondly, we manage a scholarship fund for first-generation female college students. Our goal is to help high school seniors cover the cost of college and break the cycle of generational poverty.
