Climate Ventures is an accelerator and support organization dedicated to helping early-stage entrepreneurs and innovators tackle the climate crisis. Founded in September 2018 by the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto, it has successfully accelerated 133 climate startups over four years. In September 2022, Climate Ventures merged into a partnership with Foresight Canada and SI Canada, continuing its mission through these organizations. The organization provides a variety of programs to support climate entrepreneurs, including accelerators for different stages of development, Investor Demo Days to connect startups with funding, and educational programs to help develop and scale climate solutions. Members benefit from a strong community that includes networking events, workshops, and access to advisors and mentors.
