Thabat Ventures

Thabat Ventures is a public-private venture builder program launched in August 2022 in Dubai, UAE. It focuses on supporting family businesses in launching new ventures in knowledge-intensive sectors. The program is a joint initiative between the UAE Ministry of Economy and Bridgemaker, a European corporate venture building firm. Thabat is designed exclusively for UAE family businesses, helping them navigate the shift towards innovation and entrepreneurship.

Thabat Ventures offers a structured venture-building process, mentorship, and access to financing opportunities for family businesses. The program includes an intensive 3–5 month co-building process culminating in investor pitches, as well as an 8-week THABAT Innovation Bootcamp to equip family members with skills to evaluate and invest in startups independently.
