Before
She grew up in a low-income immigrant family and became the primary earner young, with no operating-partner or finance-firm background. She broke in through an internship at K Fund in Madrid, then scout work for Lightspeed and roles at Backstage Capital.
The move
In May 2020 she and a partner built a free startup-investor matchmaking tool that generated more than two thousand introductions and over fifty known funding checks. It created real, countable value for founders and investors at once, with none of her own capital involved. She paired it with low-cost fundraising guides and free resources, building toward a newsletter audience now in the tens of thousands.
The turn
That reputation converted into her first general partner title, co-founding The Community Fund in 2020 with Flybridge while still holding a day job. She left after about a year to launch Ganas Ventures in March 2022.

What this route asks
A tool or service you can give away that produces countable value for exactly the people you eventually want as your network. Both vehicles are modest by institutional standards: The Community Fund was five million dollars and she left after about a year, and Ganas disclosed a 1.2 million dollar initial close against a 9.99 million dollar target. Community-first is a real and repeatable route that has not yet produced a fund at scale.
