Smart Cities Accelerator+ (SCA+) was a collaborative project established in December 2020 and active until September 30, 2022, involving ten partners from Denmark and Sweden. The initiative aimed to create flexible, smart energy systems that reduce peak load periods in production and promote renewable energy sources. SCA+ focused on developing scalable models and methods to enhance energy efficiency in buildings and optimize energy consumption.
SCA+ concentrated on tools for municipal energy planning, methods for flexible and efficient use of renewable energy, data-driven tools for energy-efficient building renovations, and strategies for engaging citizens in the green energy transition. The project was supported by the EU program Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak.
