Economic Accelerator is a program initiated by the Foundation Institute of Eastern Studies, which has been organizing the Economic Forum for 30 years, making it the largest business and political conference in Central and Eastern Europe. The mission of Economic Accelerator is to create a dialogue platform for representatives of large businesses, experts, government administration, and startups by organizing events and projects that facilitate connections between innovative companies, corporations, venture capital funds, and the public sector. The program was launched in December 2017 during the Industrial Forum in Karpacz.
Economic Accelerator focuses on supporting innovative startups through various events, including Startup Sessions at conferences organized by the Institute of Eastern Studies. These sessions allow entrepreneurs to compete for awards judged by a panel of corporate representatives, investment funds, and the startup ecosystem. The program also includes initiatives like the Małopolska Startup Rocket, which supports innovative companies in the Małopolska region, and the Dolnośląskie Innovation Rocket, aimed at enhancing the economic position of Lower Silesia.
Economic Accelerator offers opportunities for exposure, investor and corporate networking, prize opportunities, and internationalization support through various competitions and events.
